Laura
Peters was an elementary schoolteacher when she first started creating her
whimsical characters. She filled the classroom with characters that would
inspire her students to use their imaginations and have fun. When she
created animals with humorous personalities, she discovered that these
animals delighted children of all ages as well as adults. Her art began to
grow and she knew that painting was her joy.
Laura
currently lives in Colorado and creates custom watercolor paintings for
clients. As a published children's book illustrator, she is now sharing her
artwork with a much wider audience. Laura is commissioned by business and
residential clients to paint murals. She does travel across the country
taking part in art shows as well. Laura still enjoys teaching by holding art
classes for children at her studio.
