  Andrea Strongwater’s artistic talent was obvious at an early age. Her first collected painting hung on the wall of a fellow nursery school student whose parents loved it. Andrea attended various art schools in and around New York City where she grew up. Her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree was granted by Cornell University in Ithaca NY, where she remains active on the Architecture, Art and Planning College advisory council. Andrea shows and sells her work in galleries around the world and is represented by Cheryl Pelavin in New York City. She works in several media, including oil, pastel, watercolor, and sculpture. Andrea has spends much
of her time outside New York and has lived-in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico and Paris, France. She currently spends most of the year on Manhattan’s Upper West Side where her studio has northern light and river views. EDUCATION: |
