| | "When Dreams Come True" is a Santa painting in support of cancer research. Look closely for the message of hope. The three shooting stars in the sky remind us of the time when we only wished and dreamed there was a cure. The medical symbol in the wreath, "The race for Cure" tennis shoes on the little girl’s shoulder, and the twelve symbols of different cancer research organizations, represent the combined commitment of many to find the cure for this terrible disease. Through these efforts we can see that the cure is near. Three stars represent this; Santa is reaching for the one draped with a pink ribbon and the little girl is catching the bright star for the children. The star the angel is holding represents the goal of all--that day when we hold the cure in our hand and the dream has come true. The sunrise on the horizon reminds us to continue to look forward and believe that a bright morning is just ahead. The Bible is open to the 23rd Psalm, giving us comfort, knowing that we are not walking alone. The distant stars are in honor of the many lives that have been touched by this disease. The pink heart on the front package is in honor of you, the ones who have given from the heart, to help bring a beautiful sunrise to al1 who struggle with this disease.
